Born and raised in Manhattan, Elena is an actress, writer, and filmmaker. A graduate of Vassar College with a B.A. in English and French, Elena went on to earn her M.F.A. from USC, School of Cinematic Arts, graduating Phi Kappa Phi.

A recipient of the Jeffery Jones Screenwriting Scholarship and the Ray Stark/Ted Turner MGM Award, she continued her education in Paris studying French Theater with Tisch School of the Arts.

Elena's acting work includes G.I Joe Rise of Cobra, and television shows Castle, NCIS: Los Angeles, Justified, Touch, Revenge, Body of Proof, Parenthood, House, etc. She has also shot over 100 commercials and print campaigns.

Currently, Elena is directing L.A. Muse, the feature length documentary exploring muses and their role in the Los Angeles art scene. In addition, she has directed shorts, ads and trailers for novels, like New York Times bestseller author Kimberly McCreight's Where They Found Her. She also teaches acting at Warner Loughlin Studios, is a published poet and is in preproduction for the feature length film, Showpig.
